Pleasantly surprised. Moved from a spring pillow best costing doubly much and today a whole lot happier. Just a little firmer than anticipated, but haven’t got back pain waking up because it arrived. Excellent, very comfy.
We researched several mattresses before choosing the Zinus Queen 12”. I really believe we have been a good couple to guage the characteristics of the mattress.
We were from the Sleep Number bed mattress because my hubby likes a company sense, and I favor a softer one. He sweats a lot more than anyone I understand, and each morning his pillow has been wet, even in the winter. He was having so many back issues that he had to stretch out on the floor every morning just to be able to function for the day, and was going to the chiropractor every other month.
People claimed the Zinus never expanded to more than 10”. We waited the full 48 hours to sleep on ours, and it expanded to a strong 11”. Our sheets fit it perfectly, and I don’t know why it would need to be any thicker. There was never a hint of odor, and I have a sensitive nose.
We both sleep very well on the mattress, I would almost go so far as to say we “love” it. My husband has stopped sweating, and it’s summer in Kansas. He is a farmer who’s putting in long hours right now. If he were going to become achy, it could certainly be right now. No more issues of stiffness or having to visit the chiropractor. We sometimes wake up just a little stiff right here or there because we plant in a single spot and so are so comfy that people never move forever.
We continue steadily to congratulate ourselves about our good choice. You can find probably much better mattresses on the market, but we shall never understand because we aren’t the kind of visitors to invest that sort of profit one.
Final year on Primary Day I purchased this mattress right after months of research. I’m a double resident of FL and NC by 2018. I refurnished my FL house from the bottom up. I bought this bed mattress for FL having an adjustable foundation. Because I compensated a lot more than $2k for my final mattress I believed ‘what the hay? easily need to replace it in a couple of years what possess I lost?’. I am happy with the efficiency of the mattress so far – so very much so that I’m ordering that one for my NC house. This has already been slept on for a complete of 9 a few months of the this past year when i let a pal stay at my FL home for 3 months. Thus far there are zero signs of wear and it has been flipped 2X. I am no small fry as I wear a 1X and there is no sagging or wear marks as of yet. I like a medium firm with some give. I feel totally supported while being wrapped in cloud like comfort. I sleep on my side and back and have felt no pressure points in either position but also have none of the aches associated with a too soft/hard mattress. I lift my feet just a few degrees and have no swollen knees or feet in the AM. A real selling point for the adjustable base! One must do their research when purchasing online and read the reviews. Anything firmer or softer would have been painful for me and it’s not something you can fix with a topper that is reasonably priced. There was exactly 0 smell as I let this rise overnight. It could have been sleepable within an hour but I am a stickler for instructions. Given my physical condition I did have to have some ‘man muscle’ heaving it upstairs. He handled it with ease. There is no memory foam with advantage support so far as I could research therefore i purchased a bench for the finish of the mattress when I required that kind of assistance dressing or gaining shoes. It really is what it really is – I rest on this mattress and comfort is definitely what I wanted. I haven’t observed any temperature differential but I’m not just one who sweats within their rest with any amount of regularity (but one way too many cocktails and I’m a significant applicant). Thank God days past are usually behind me because of cancer surgical treatment. Dx 9 years back and clean even today. Which brings me to the stage of the significance of sleep. Completely fantastic bed. I had previously owned a Sleep Innovations memory foam bed that I gave away to Goodwill because it was so hot, I could not stand it. It was also not supportive for my back and I had to struggle to get out of bed because you had to roll out of the mattress. I was through with memory foam. I took a chance and bought this bed and I am so incredibly pleased. It’s a cool sleep even with blankets. It’s firm enough to support your back and my joints without any pain the morning. It’s also so comfortable. I fall asleep immediately once I hit this bed. I just love this. I am ordering another one for my guest room. I would highly recommend this bed.
The bed arrived in a compressed roll delivered to my doorstep by UPS. The plastic was intact and protecting the mattress. Being an older woman, I was able to to get it into the home but had to wait for help to get it on to the bed frame. It is quite heavy. It unrolled and expanded almost immediately. The cover on this mattress is gorgeous and has a no skid bottom. The slight odor is about gone after 3 days. I have given it 3 times to completely expand and atmosphere out. I haven’t slept on it however, but layed on it for a brief time. It sensed like laying on a cloud. Time will show how this bed mattress retains up, but I am happy with the whole shipping and delivery process, and packaging.
